I opened my inbox this morning to a wonderful sight. Inside was a set of spectacular photos from the genius that is Rich Gilligan.

Rich is an Irish photographer whose diet of skateboarding and buttery toast has helped shape his photographic style. He has been published widely in magazines such as slap, sidewalk, mongrel, ei8ht photojournalism, slam and candy magazine and has worked for clients such as etnies, addict, stimulus and ultrasound recordings, and now little old us. And boy do we feel like pigs in shit.

Next month we are trying something new at turtlehead. As far as we know this is a first for Ireland and we’ve not seen anything like this on the interweb before. We are holding an exhibition and the art will be only available online for one week only. After that that’s it – they are gone. There will be 20 original pieces hand painted by Chris Judge that will be sold on a first come first served basis. Each piece will come with a very very limited t-shirt and will of course have free shipping worldwide. So get there early.

Chris has been working flat out on a new exhibition over the past few months and has just finished all the work so here’s a sneak preview of three of the 22 pieces.

“The whole show will be online only so we’re really excited that people can see and buy from it worldwide. It will go live at on Monday 19th May at 4pm (for one week only) and there’ll be virtual wine served.
